Summary

greenID is an identity verification system which collects details about a consumer's identity and compares them against authoritative sources of identity data to see if there is a match.

To use greenID, the greenID verification process must be embedded into other systems using API, Web and/or Mobile SDK options. Verification results can be retrieved via those channels and/or via the greenID Admin Panel. 

Integration Options

greenID Web: the simplest integration option, greenID Web allows you to embed some javascript within your website to connect with greenID and display the relevant forms to consumers to complete. This is the default option the majority of customer select. greenID Web can be easily customised to appear as a seamless part of your website. greenID web provides a streamlined means of accessing the complex API that connects directly to greenID. greenID Web can be implemented in your website by an experienced web developer.

greenID Mobile: allows greenID to be embedded in your own native mobile apps, taking advantage of mobile device features to permit comparison of identity documents with selfies. greenID Mobile can be customised to appear seamlessly within your mobile app. greenID mobile is a Software Development Kit (SDK) that provides a customised means of accessing the API that connects directly to greenID. greenID Mobile can be implemented in your mobile app by an experienced mobile developer.

greenID API: a highly complex option which provides access to the complete set of functions and procedures for greenID. Permits a highly customised option for embedding greenID within any API-capable system.  greenID API can be implemented in your system by an architect who is knowledgeable in your system, some experienced developers, and extensive consultation with greenID technical experts. 

Admin Panel

The Admin Panel is a web-based interface which allows you to review results and reports from greenID and to initiate verification requests.

If no other integration channel is used, the Admin Panel can be used by service staff to input data on behalf of consumers and submit a verification request.

greenID Core

The heart of greenID, the core contains:

  • verification process: the engine which processes verification requests
  • data source connections: the connections between greenID and the authoritative sources which identity data is compared against
  • rule sets: the rules which define what constitutes a successful verification or not
  • ancillary services: services other than verification which greenID customers can take advantage of such as Fraud Risk and Watch List Checking
  • customer configuration: the account settings which define the verification options, data sources, rule sets and ancillary services applicable to each customer
