Admin Panel Changes - September 2023
To improve the search function and billing report loading times, greenID has made some changes to the admin panel.
Admin Panel Search Changes
Change available in Test & Prod: 27th September 2023
To improve the efficiency of the search function in the greenID admin panel, two main changes have been made:
An improvement to the backend search queries
Changes have been made to the search queries to make the search process more efficient, therefore, improving search times. This change is purely in the backend and does not impact admin functions.
Default search period of 3 months
The default search period for admin panel filters has been preset to 3 months (screen shots below). This is to help reduce the search period by default (if the search is for a shorter timeframe).
Customers can still change the date filter to any other preferred search dates as per existing behaviour. The help text on the page has been updated to reflect this change.
Billing Report Changes

To improve the performance of the billing report, two changes have been made:
An improvement to the search process
greenID has introduced some efficiencies in the search process which will reduce the load time for billing reports significantly. This change is purely at the backend and does not impact admin users.
Changes to the search options
The search options for the billing report have been modified to support searching from / to month and year ranges (as opposed to date filters). Customers can modify the search period as per existing behaviour.
