Background DVS Australian Electoral Roll Checks (AEC)

 If the Australian Electoral Roll is configured for an account there are two ways it can be configured to run in background mode:

  1. Always run at registration.
  2. Only run when it can verify the individual (this may happen after interactive source checks too). 

For more information about these options, please talk to your GBG representative.

For both cases, explicit consent is required for the source and must be collected by the customer.

Visa Entitlement Check

To initiate a background a Visa Entitlement Check, the following fields must be passed in the extraData element:

  • visaEntitlementPassportNumber- the Passport number.  This field is required.  This field must have the value as shown on the passport.
  • visaEntitlementPassportCountry - the country that issued the Passport - the 3 letter country code of the country that issued the passport, except Germany, which is denoted by the single character "D".  This field is required.  The list of valid country codes is attached to the greenID API DVS Visa Data Source Reference; please look at the attachment in this section to find the list.  This field must have the value as shown on the passport.
The person's name and data of birth details details from the other parameters are used.
